Betta fish has the scientific name Betta Sp, is a freshwater fish that is usually kept by freshwater fish enthusiasts in Asia. Betta fish are freshwater fish originating from countries in Southeast Asia, including: Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.

1. Halfmoon Betta Fish

2. Crowntail Betta Fish

In Indonesian, this type of Crowntail Betta fish is called the Serit Hickey, first born in 1998, Ahmad Yusuf from Jakarta is considered the inventor of this type of Betta fish.

3. Double tail Betta fish

The uniqueness of the doubel tail betta fish because of its split tail, the double tail looks so pretty. The double tail betta fish has the same base of the dorsal and anal fins.

The best type of Double Tail Betta fish is one that does not have a gap or distance between the three fins, namely from the anal, caudal and dorsal.

4. Betta Fish Plaque

Plaque comes from the word Plakad, which is Thai, meaning Plakad to fight. So the Plakat Betta Fish is usually used as a fighting fish.

5. Giant betta fish

Currently this type of giant betta fish is known for its beautiful color and large body with the name Giant betta Koi.

Increasingly with the development of fisheries technology and cross-breeding trials to produce new, more enchanting strains, it is likely that new type of betta fish will be born.
